Advanced Editing

Using Advanced Editing

As soon as you enable Advanced Editing:

  • A pencil appears beside all parameters that can be opened for further editing in the plan analysis table.
  • An arrow appears beside the editable MU and doses that can be normalized.
  • A pencil appears in the 3D arc view that allows editing the arc setup in the user interface.

PTV

MUSelect the arrow to open a box that allows you to change the monitor units scaling factor (%) that can be applied to the treatment plan.

The software automatically recalculates the dose.

Clinical Protocol Editor parametersYou can manually edit any values in the editable black boxes that appear after selecting the pencil.

NormalizeSelect the arrowhead beside either value and click on the box that appears to normalize to either the prescription or the maximum/desired dose constraint.

The software automatically recalculates the dose by attempting to fulfill the corresponding constraint (prescription or maximum/desired dose).

Clinical parameters of the Setup templates

Available if you are in Advanced Editing mode and enter the Beam’s Eye View layout or select 3D Arc View from the Overview layout. You can change the values predefined in the Setup files and apply them to the current plan. The template is not modified.

Check markSelect the check mark to close the editing view.

The software automatically updates the views.
