Modulation Complexity Score (MCS)
The MCS ①
is shown in the Treatment Delivery
PDF under Objects and Constraints
and gives a measure of the complexity of the treatment plan. It considers the positions of neighboring leaves and the deviation from the maximum aperture for each control point weighted by the irradiated dose. A value of 1.0 characterizes the simplest form, a uniform, rectangular aperture for each control point. Lower values indicate more complex shapes. For further information on how the MCS
