Intended Use/Indications for Use

The RT Elements are applications for radiation treatment planning for use in stereotactic, conformal, computer planned, Linac based radiation treatment of cranial, head and neck, and extracranial lesions.

Intended User Profile

The intended users are medical professionals who perform radiation treatment planning (medical physicists, radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicians, etc.).

Environment

The computer hardware is intended to be used within a hospital environment (e.g., clinical planning office). General regulations and standards, such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60950 must be observed by the hospital, i.e, only parts conforming to the applicable standards can be used within the hospital environment.
